ServeUbest Data Privacy Policy
1. Data We Collect
When you register, we collect your full name, email address, hashed password, and role (client or freelancer).
During platform use we additionally collect booking records, payment transactions, uploaded files, messages, and activity logs.
2. Purpose of Collection
Your data is used solely to operate the ServeUbest platform — to match clients with freelancers, process payments,
send notifications, and resolve disputes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on secured servers. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms.
Uploaded files are stored in restricted directories inaccessible to unauthorized users.
4. Data Sharing
Your name and profile information are visible to other users as necessary for service delivery
(e.g., a freelancer's profile is visible to clients). Payment details are shared only with the
parties involved in a transaction and platform administrators.
5. Your Rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (R.A. 10173), you have the right to access,
correct, and request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact our

6. Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active or as required by law.
Upon account deletion, personal data is anonymized or erased within 30 days, except where
retention is required for legal or financial compliance.
7. Cookies
We use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or
platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
